Daniel Verduyn joins the family company and starts prospecting in the French market.
Investments in new premises for the processing of salsify for industrial use and the storage of winter vegetables. The production facilities are further expanded and the machines upgraded.

Verduyn acquires Segor in Kortemark, and a first fresh vegetable branch (packed carrots).
One year after the acquisition of Segakor, a new production facility for the fresh market carrot production is delivered.
Construction of a new cooling unit and plant for fresh market production, investments in water purification, acquisition of various other companies (Campion, Van Meijel, Veco), establishment of a sales office in Northern France, opening of an own carrot washing facility in Abbéville, start of close cooperation with French farmers.

Investments in washing installations, peeling and cutting lines and implementation of new IT infrastructure. Establishment of Verduyn France and Verduyn Spain. Launch of the partnership with Expandis Laon and construction of a first cold store in Arras.
In 2012, the packaging warehouse was built and delivered.
